I know there was a thread on this before but couldn't find it. Google Analytics is good but it says one of my ecrater stores had no views yesterday when the views on my admin page shows a bunch. I know the UA number is correct and they are getting the info. Maybe my store didn't get views but my items did. That is why I am requesting a views on the admin page.

Is it possible to do that Tomas? If not, guess I will just do without it.

I think that is a great suggestion. I have added a free counter to my store's home page and some of the individual items but it is additional work to accomplish it. A section in store admin showing hits would be great.

I agree that a view counter in admin would be great, and for it to reset the 1st of each month then you and see if a promotion is working.

I think a lot of people don't even post on the forums.  I hope Tomas at least thinks it's a good idea.  Of course, he has to do the work so maybe he's not thrilled.

I think its a good idea, but not urgent.  I really do like the Google Analytics, and use it often, but it is not quite the same as pulling up your item page and seeing where and when the hits are happening.  After we all get rolling and making sales, it will be a great tool.

As to most not posting, we can be sure of that.  As of now there are 1488 members, and only a handful post....occasionally.    Looks like they are all busy listing though, so that is a real good thing.  Maybe later they will get around to a "howdy".

A simple hit counter is now available for all of your products. This is visible from the Manage Products page. You can also sort by # of views.

Counters will only update once for the length of the user session. If they close their browser and come back, it will count as another hit.

You are able to reset the counter by editing the product.
