I went through that list, and chose several that did not charge a fee or require a reciprocal link. Ended up submitting to three.
One of the three sent me a nice email saying all of their submissions are manually reviewed
(Which is good, in my opinion)

Wikia has a new search engine now and users can add a website to the results. I'm really not too sure how it works,but I've been advised that it would be a good thing for me to add my sites to as many key word searches and I can think of. It's easy to do and may be a really good thing at some point. If anyone is interested, here is the link:

Just type in your favorite keywords (in my case, things like hot fix rhinestones and homespun fabric) and then click the link on the right that lets you add a site to the results. Type in your web address. Then search another keyword and repeat.
Oh, ... you have to sign up for a user name to add websites to the results. Who knows, someday wikia search might rival google search?
If you have an account, you can also apply to create a wiki about your favorite topic. Which, of course, would be related to your products with well placed links to your websites. Something like a blog, but kind of like a community created blog. This is also a new concept, but it could catch on. Even though I won't have time to develop them right away, I thought it might be a good idea to apply and get approved for my site's topics. Better me than the competition!
