Maybe. Jennifer (BISI Designs) is the expert but she probably won't be posting much this week. Her kids are on spring break. I'm just a "do-it-yourselfer".

What are you wanting to do and what have you done so far?

I just upgraded and just at the very beginning.  It all looks very confusing.  Is it easier to use the wiki information or do you use the sample files?

Unless you understand how the "if" statements of the wiki function, I think it's much easier to work off the sample files. The only problem is that the sample files are now very outdated since the new version of bisi came out. At least they were last time I checked. Tomas has posted some of the new variables here in the forums, but I don't think they are offered anywhere in one place.

In spite of all that, I think the sample files are easier for a beginner. You can copy the css style sheets and then change the presentation styling without having to change any of the html code. (Changing the fonts, font sizes, background colors, etc.) It's much easier to tweak an existing style sheet than to start from scratch. After you mess with it for a while, you will get more comfortable with changing the code around to suit your needs.

If you like one of bisi's templates and just want some custom pages on your website, you could just link your custom page template to the bisi css styles so it would match the rest of the website.
