Tomas,

Is the shopping cart listed under another name within Paypal's compatible shopping cart list?  I can't find it anywhere to finish my setup of Website Payments Standard.  I recently upgraded to a business account and there is a process that paypal is showing I haven't completed which is selecting a compatible cart.  I would like to resolve this ASAP, thanks.

I am assuming since no one has responded to this post that no one knows!  Tomas,  I need an answer please.  Is BuyitSellit listed anywhere on Paypal as a compatible shopping cart?  The incomplete setup on my account for Paypal's Website Payment Standard is driving me crazy.  Your input would be appreciated.  Thanks.

I'm not sure what you need. We're not in the Paypal directory because we never applied for certification. It's not required however to use Paypal or Paypal Pro.

Bella..

I didn't have to do anything from paypal for bisi. I already had my paypal biz account set up though. I just clicked on paypal as a payment option when setting up my bisi site.

Does the Paypal Pro cost a monthly fee?

Yes, it's $30/mo.

Depending on your volume of sales, it could save you some Paypal fees. I've noticed that the stores that support some type of Credit Card gateway improve sales.

I am not having any problems with payments.  The reason I asked the question is because I upgraded my Paypal account to a business account and it is showing that I haven't completed the process of either selecting a shopping cart or setting up buttons for Webstie Payments Standard.  This shows in the middle of my account homepage on Paypal and is a nuisance.

Tomas,

Why doesn't BISI just apply for the certification?   Seems to me it would provide some added legitimacy to the site.  I noticed that osCommerce has one listed.

Ashleigh:

I have the same situation with my PayPal account.  I also upgraded to the Business Standard and it is showing I need to complete set up as well.  I tried to talk this out with PayPal but really they were not much help.  I am not sure what is needed to do as others have indicated to me in another forum that just designating PayPal in payment options is all that is needed.  I guess I will find out at time of first sale.  If you learn anything different please let me know too!  Happy Selling!
