A broken stick away from overtime.
Looks to be a fun season,
with a little more hope for the Blues.

See what happens when I post something positive.
From near the top, to the bottom.
We recorded last nights game, and will watch it
in the next few days. Don't tell me what happened.
Mike.

Hey, look who I saw tonight:

It's not the best pic of Lord Stanley. Was on my camera phone, so no zoom. Went to a local OHL game (Saginaw Spirit) and the Cup was there along with Head Coach Mike Babcock and GM Ken Holland. Pretty Cool!!
Was kinda bummed, could have taken pics with the the cup, but the line was 5 miles long. Didn't have the patience.

Did you know it would be there?
5 mile lines? Sounds like the day after Thanksgiving
at the stores. It was probably less rowdy to get the
photo.
I know the cup has been in St. Louis.
Just need to get St. Louis Blues engraved on it.
I doubt that it will be this year though.

Yep, knew it'd be there but didn't plan on lines that long. Of course, I'm exaggerating about 5 miles, but it was LONG. Wish I at least brought a better camera.

The Blues / Red Wings Game last night was another real
"nail biter".
Well, I only watched about 15 minutes of the 3rd period.
I haven't seen that Blues team in a while.
They had actually been playing pretty well before
last night. They were 6-2-2 in their 10 previous games.
Chris Mason allowed five goals on 36 shots, after allowing
just five goals on 145 shots in his previous five games.
The Red Wings are still looking good heading into the stretch
run. (We'll ignore that Nashville game.) The team is as good,
if not better than last year. If their goaltenders keep them
in it, they have a great chance to win it.
Saturday the 14th is the next meeting.
I'll have to remember to watch the whole game.
