Ok - so I just took a tranquilizer (just kidding ) and downloaded Firefox. Thought I'd start with an easy one. The editor still doesn't work like it used to before all this started - but - I can at least get the changes to save if I do the corrections, then click into the html editor, then click back (Thanks Mike for that tip ) I need to vent here a moment - I really hate computers Thanks, I feel a little better now.

Thanks again everyone for all your input - if anyone else has any suggestions, I'm all ears. I'm not sure when I'll feel brave enough to do the upgrade to IE7. I need to take some time first to figure out Firefox

Oh - another question - why is Firefox telling me I need to download Adobe flash player 8 to see my charts in admin? I must already have it because I see the charts just fine in IE.

Can't help on that one, but I was under the impression from somewhere that the flash player was needed to see the tutorial videos rather than the charts. You will probably want that Flash player if you don't have it.

Nope - and this is why I find computers so stressfull   When I log into my admin with Firefox a little box pops up that says I need to download Adobe Flash Player 8 to see my charts and includes a thing to say click here to download - and sure enough my charts don't show up in Firefox, but they are fine in IE.  As I was messing around with Firefox this morning, I also get that message on my Comcast homepage for my email, that I need to download Adobe Flash Player, but I do have it and it works on IE.  I don't want to keep downloading things I don't need/know about/etc.  I'll tell you one thing though - my next boyfriend is definitely going to be a computer geek   This stuff is really starting to wear me down.

Thanks again - I'm off now to do Easter - Have A Happy Easter Everyone

I have problems in IE sorting my products by hits. I don't know why. I don't have trouble in any of the Motzilla ones.

Even though you have flash installed and workin in IE, Firefox still needs to install their own plugin .

Thank you Tomas So I won't be downloading a flash program twice? Each browser needs their own download? Is that correct?

It may just mean that Firefox has it's own plug in. I think that happened to me when I used Firefox and I just went and downloaded it and it hasn't happened since. I totally forgot about it.

I now have IE7 and the editor still doesn't work - I have the latest version of Firefox but the editor will only work if I click into the html and then back into the regular editor.  But now, on the last item I listed, everything is underlined in the saved final listing, but not in the editor

Nobody seems to know why it won't work on my computer.  It used to work just fine   I guess I won't be able to make BISI my new home - I can't list with this problem - this is such a great site and I had such high ambitions
