Another trick I have found.
Highlight the item and change it like you normally would.
Then change to the HTML editor, then change back to the regular editor.
It is a pain, but the items have changed correctly for me doing this.
Mike.

Thanks for all the suggestions Mike   So, I cleared my cache, I rebooted, I even unplugged my comcast connection (the cable guy said I should do that at least once a month because sometimes all the updates don't go through or some such computer stuff) - still not working.  I tried the do the edit-go to html mode-back to regular edit - still doesn't work.  I went to another site I have items listed on and tried revising an item with their WYSIWUG editor and it works FINE.  I don't know if this might help someone to see what's wrong, but here's what is in my html mode of the editor after I highlight and make the changes I want.  By the way, it looks fine in the regular editor-it just won't stick.

<span>Hazel Atlas Moderntone white sherbet or custard dessert dish.  This item is in nice condition, no chips or cracks.  There is no maker mark on the bottom.  If you click on a picture, it will enlarge.<br />

Smiling Eyes, do you have Internet Explorer 7? The earlier versions can sometimes cause issues. You can know by clicking the "help" at the top of the browser and then clicking "About Internet Explorer". If you have IE7, maybe you should try the Firefox browser. I personally much prefer it and it's a free download. Here's the link for Firefox

I know how frustrating it is when things don't work right and especially when it seems you're the only one having the problem! If sympathy helps any, you have mine!

I am able to get your font and size to work on my computer,
and to save into BISI's system.
How about going into Manage Products, then clicking on
the sell similar link in one of the correct items.
Change that listing and see if it will save correctly.
I have started typing within the text from another listing to
keep everything the same, then deleting what I don't need.

You might have to reload IE.
Also never hurts to run your spyware and antivirus programs.

Again, hope this helps,
Mike

IE 6 is probably the worse build of IE ever. I'd strongly recommend upgrading to IE 7 or Firefox.

Thanks Everyone Jubilee-Thanks for the sympathy-it does help  - I am so computer illiterate, I'm amazed at myself at what I have accomplished   When I did what you suggested I have Version:6.0 2180.xpsp-(and more meaningless to me numbers) Update versions SP2.  All I know is I use Internet Explorer and I have Windows XP. This computer is only 1 1/2 year old - is that considered old in todays world???  I'm terrified to download anything because before I got this computer, my sister gave me her old computer and boy did I mess that thing up.  I learned a lot, but I also learned whenever you install or download things it can ask me questions I don't have a clue what they are talking about so I don't know how to answer and continue, and boy did I create some problems

And Mike - Thanks Again!  I do run my McAfee at least once a week, sometimes more if something happened to frighten me.  I also run, usually every morning, my Webroot Spysweeper Program.  I don't think I will try figuring out how to download IE again just to list on BISI though

What I still don't understand is how it could work perfectly fine for almost 2 months and then just stop working?

Maybe I will appease the Gods I angered and they will make it mysteriously work again the way they made it mysteriously stop working

How do I upgrade to IE7??? Is it something simple for someone who knows/understands nothing?

Yes, it's simple! Go to this address and just follow the instructions. You'll be so glad you did. It basically works like IE6 except for a few new features that you'll be able to figure out quickly. I use IE7 and Firefox both so I can see what my web projects look like in either one.
