This is my first online store like this and I'm completely new to google base and SEO. Before I start adding hundreds of items I just wanted to make sure I'm doing things at least partially right. Here is an example of a type of item I would be listing:
Vintage Regency Jewels Art Glass Bead Necklace Pink Two Strand $35.00
Here is a stunning neckace . All but the pale pink round beads , and the gold tone spacers
are glass . This is about 26 3/4 " end to end . The end reads Regency Jewels . The beads are gorgeous .
The only flaw is wear to the end piece where the name is . Stunning necklace in Excellent Condition .
these are the steps when adding it to Catalog:
"Catalog > Add new product > General"

I have buyitsell it track stock level for me
I set it to "1" as all my items are unique.
"Catalog > Add new product > Photos"
and of course I add the photos, front, back and one on a display.
So am I making any major formatting or syntax errors, are there better attributes I could use? Any suggestions at all would be appreciated , I have no idea if I am doing any of this correctly
Also I based the categories in my store off of the Google Taxonomy list as well

Can anybody tell me if my google attributes are ok, I don't know what the goolge Attributes and variables are (except condition) or the syntax I have been using symbols like " . \
do I just list variables, do I use , between them, do I make a taxonomy tree with > symbols?
As an example
title: Vintage Sterling Cowboy Cowgirl Boot Earrings with opalite signed Francis
Price: $25.00
Weight: .05 lbs
Descriptions: This is a very pretty set of pierced earrings . They are Sterling with and ornate design
and opalite stones to the center . The weight is about .05 lbs or 22 grams . They measure about 1 1/4 " and 2 1/16 " in size at the widest points . The back of the earrings . One reads Francis the other reads Sterling .
One boot shows a couple of small nicks near the boot toe . We think this was made on creation .
The other boot does not show this . The left boot in the photo shows a scratch and
a rough or dull area . This does not detract from the beauty . We will adjust the
price accordingly . They are quite nice . Very good Condition .
And putting something like this in Google Attributes:

price | 25.00 USD Just a couple of notes: Be sure you are adding the product_type at the top of the Google attributes screen, not in the listing of additional attributes. Don't put in price, BISI includes that with your google feed (along with quantity, link to your site, images, etc). Instead of "Signed" I might use "Brand" and instead of "theme" I might use "Type". But these are your choices and you certainly know your site and products better than any of us.
