Just wondering if you have verified your site at google merchant? There will be some code that you will paste into your home page to verify your site. Once you have added the code, when returning to google merchant, it will indicate "verified".

It does not verify immediately, I believe it took me a day or two when I did my sites.

I was helping a friend with her sitemap verification, the instructions say to place the code on your Home Page which we did. If I remember correctly (lol) when I verified mine, I only put the code in the SEO section. We tried it every which way you can think of including removing the quotes as mentioned by Tomas. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

To verify your site on Google merchant, go to your BISI Marketing Tab, SEO, and complete this part of the screen with the information from Google:

Custom meta tag name:

ex: verify-v1 (no HTML!)

Custom meta tag value:

Your Custom metag tag name will be verify-v1, your custom meta tag value should be copied from the google site, no quotation marks and an = sign at the end.

Complete this on BISI and then ask Google to Verify your site.

A few days ago I went through the verify process and tried the "verify-v1" custom meta tag name without success. Then (and I disremember just exactly where the info was, but it was somewhere in the google instructions) I found a note that the custom meta tag name should be "google-site-verification" (without the quotes). As soon as I changed that, it verified immediately. This is interesting because last year when my better half Shirley [aka stonehillcollectibles] went through the process, she used the suggested "verify-v1" and that worked. I suppose google has changed the parameter in the interim so you might try the "google-site-verification" in the custom meta tag name box and see if that works. HTH
