I keep html coding offsite and add it before entering product description. Probably there are other ways like the css or whatever mentioned above. (I don't have a clue what or how to use that!)

It could have been that I copied some products - they may have had html in their descriptions.


Im hesitant to reply to your posts, because you seem to know far more about HTML/css/programming than I do. But, since I know what its like to over-look the obvious... Ill post this anyway....

Text that does not seem like it has any HTML with it often does. Text copied from a Word Document will "come with" a bunch of HTML.

ALso... you were talking about bulk uploading. Copying text from other sources can be problematic there too, and cause the file not to upload. Again, notepad is probably a way to get rid of it. (its not HTML, just visible and NON visible charactors within the text - remnants from the original text formatting.
