Thanks for the response I decided to do another test with a separate machine running ie8 same thing disabled cookies just to make sure same results. I just want to see if anybody has had customers emailing you on this issue. I never even thought about till the other day when a customer specifically mentioned this thats when i ran the tests and saw the error. If I try with mozilla no problem but it seems to be an issue with IE8 and the basic templates. Thanks

My concern here is that not all customers are not going to email you saying that they could not add items to their cart, They are just going to figure it does not work and buy somewhere else which makes me worry because unless that customer specifically told me that error I would not known because I am not always testing the cart I just assume its working. Any other input would be appreciated and thanks Tomas for your input maybe there is a coding issue with IE8 and how it reacts to cookies with the templates. Thanks

Ok just received another email this time the customer is using a mac and running the Safari Browser. They explained they have no problems adding items to the cart but when they select the regular checkout not google checkout they get the error message
"there was a problem processing you request please try again" it seems they cant not go any farther than this. I bring this up because now its more than just a couple of customer with IE8 but now Safari. Input from other sellers would be appreciated. Thanks

There's nothing wrong with your account. I tested with Mac/Safari and it's working fine.

dvdsentertainment,
At least customer emailed you (you are right that I don't think many potential buyers who for whatever reason has trouble checking out would have done so)

Hopefully whatever the problem is/was, you were able to complete the transaction!

I just created an invoice in your store with no issues...I was taken all the way to log into my PayPal account. I'm not sure at what point your customers are getting the error, but it seemed to work fine using PP at the payment method.

Mike,

I just completed a test order. It looks like your missing the state for sending
business/personal check payments.
