Could we have a feature that allows us to include/exclude multiple categories in/from a sale? I recently made a promotion that covered multiple categories and since you can only check off one category when making a coupon, I had to go through and check off each item I wanted to include in the sale which turned out to be quite a time consuming task.

Your 'work around' is probably the only way to go unless/until a multiple category offer comes along. As I remember the category option for coupons was a later added feature to the marketing option so doubtful it will be a high priority until more people come here to 'amen' your suggestion!
