I really wish there was a way to require the billing address, and have it show up on the orders page.
I am worried about chargebacks. I've only had two in two years, BUT, they've both been for $50+ worth of merchandise,
and having BOTH the billing and shipping addresses would help.

Yes, I've requested this numerous times. I don't understand why Tomas can have the billing information shown if they create an account, but not when they place an order. The billing info really should be on the Order Detail page under the shipping address.

Maybe if enough complain, he'll add that to the order detail.

I think one of the biggest problems is that if they have a different Ship To name, then we don't even know who the actual card holder is.

I would very much like to get this information too.

Besides the potential Chargeback issue... there are others.

If I were to need to call with question/issue about the order... I would not even have a NAME to ask for when calling.

I would LOVE to be able to send some print marketing to all the Aunts and Grandmothers who sent gifts through my site last Christmas... but I do not have their names, let alone their addresses. If the bill to info were in the order file, then I could export and do a super quick querry to find the ones where the bill to/ship to is different.... TA DA - marketing list!

Ive had people call to ask me who sent their gift. I feel like an azz that I cannot answer that question.

There are others along these lines.... Bottom line, the BILL TO is my customer, not the ship to. Im sure some businesses ship a larger portion of orders to gift recipients than I do. I estimate 20% (and its gonna be higher than that in December BigGrin

)
