And I agree with what just about everyone else has said ~ that's retail for ya! On a related note, I recently placed a banner ad with a fairly small website (because it was free and I can't afford advertising right now - it's EXPENSIVE!), and got a HUGE influx of traffic within days and even a sale (hadn't had one in over a month)! So recent ad campaigns certainly should be considered whenever you're having a particularly large "feast".

| My sales are also very inconsistant... spurts, with nothing in between. I also find that somtimes, when there is a spate of sales, a lot of them are for the same product... and then that product won't sell again for a long while.

Sales for me the past couple of days have been thorough ebaY. Always glad to see sales in my inbox, but I can never guess which of my stores the next might come from. So it is best to have eggs in many baskets!

same here, mine have gone down on my website, its hardly anything at all this last 30 days, but my ebay sales are picking up a little steam now. It is very unpredictable. Had one month with 6 sales, next month maybe 1 if Im lucky. So I never know what its gonna be.

| HI, Same with me, getting sales on my eBay store that come in spurts, some hits on my bisi, but no sales. I do my best to research, look at trends, read everything that I can, and still can't really get a good explanation as to what can bring people into the store and BUY! You guys are right, smile in the good times and remember those days when sales are down. I, too, am hoping that things start to pick up during the pre-holiday season.
