| I sell jewelry cases, and I want to set up a volume discount - i.e. buy two, get $10 off. I suppose I could do something with an onsite coupon code, but that seems awkward. Is there anyway to set up an automatic discount based on the category/# of items purchased? Thanks!

| I don't believe you can even do what you want with a coupon. You can create a coupon that requires the cart total to be a minimum dollar amount, but not based on the number of items in the cart. I actually created a support ticket earlier today to request that. Using a coupon to create discounts shouldn't be a big deal, just advertise it on your home page. Thanks!

No I tried. You have to go in one at a time and change the price :-( However the coupon works great. Just advertise it on your homepage with the code!

My entire inventory has bulk discounts but I just dont have the time to post them all, the only way to do this is to copy the listing and put in the description "minimum order of -" and set the price that way. VERY time consuming but its your only choice...

With problems that others have mentioned with editing bulk loads, I stay clear and just edit the old fashion way...one at a time!
May be worth posting the request in the suggestion box area of forum though.
