I am creating my store and testing the shopping cart. I noticed if I have two items in my cart with free shipping and one item with weight based shipping, the weight based item's shipping cost is not added to the cart. I do not have this problem if there is only one free shipping item and one weight based item. I am thinking this is a bug. You should be able to have as many free shipping items and weight based items as you want and have the shipping calculate correctly.
