Is there a way to customize the emails sent to customers? I would like to add a logo and some custom text message.

Also - the invoice page that comes up as a PDF to print is pitiful. It doesn't even have my co name on it anywhere. Is there a way to change it's appearance?

Thanks
Angie

Under Appearance/Store Images you can upload a receipt logo. I made one with my web address, email, etc.

I print a word document, and then print the pdf receipts on top of them. (kind of like using leaderhead paper, I supose)

Im on my laptop right now, but if you'd like to try the same idea, Im happy to share my formatted word file, to save you some formatting work getting things to line up right.

I do have my logo at the top, plus some contact info. Then "returns/refunds information" at the bottom, plus a footer with all my contact info.

It works well for me - I print a bunch in advance. I have a half sheet version (works for 1 or 2 items on the order) and a version with more room for more items. I dont like to waste a whole sheet of paper when a half sheet will do.

For the emails... I dont know if you can add images, but in Settings---Emails and notifications, to set up "custom email templates", which then apear in the drop down list when you click "email buyer". You can customize the confirmation email sent to the buyer there too.

Cindy if you would be willing to share your form that would be so kind! It would save me a bunch of time

As for the customize emails......it looks like the only thing you can do is a text only

Right now even the field names like $order.firstname are not working... wish it would - it would look so much more professional.

Last I remember, the email templates are text only. You can not add images or HTML. Sigh.

Not really misleading. You can customize them. It never said you could format them! But you can customize the text the customer receives. But I do understand what you are referring to though.
