Could we please have more ways to sort our orders? A few days ago I was in the dashboard, looking through orders to calculate profits and all that jazz when I was struck once again by how inconvenient it was to have to sort hit "all" to pull up all of the orders for which I was looking since they extended beyond a month.

Could we have two more features?

1) Sort by specific date/dates
2) Sort by customer name--well, really, it's be the ability to look up an order via customer name in the search bar.

Thanks.
JC

If you click on the table headers in the order history (Order ID, Order Date, Ordered By, & Amount), you can sort it anyway you like.

Tomas,

You, however, cannot search for an order by specific date. Say, for instance, I want to see all of the orders from 7-01-09 to 7-31-09 at once and only those orders. I cannot do so because today is the 5th and of August and the best I could do is either see all of the orders within the last month covering the 5th of July to the 5th of August or look at all he orders that I've ever had and single out the date range that I want from there.

I want to be able to go into my order dashboard and select a DATE SPECIFIC range of orders that I want to see .

The same is true for looking up orders by name. Right now I cannot type in the name of a customer in the search bar nor anywhere in the order dashboard to be able to find a customer and his orders which would be nice since not all customers register. Furthermore, viewing those customers is dependent on when the customer placed the order. I want to be able to search for a customer no matter WHEN he ordered.

Thanks Tomas.

Here is what I would like to see on the orders page to efficiently sort orders. This screen shot was taken from paypal. As you can see in the shot, you can select the range of dates that you want to use to locate and pull up orders. Then the orders that fall into that date range are retrieved and displayed below the date range. This is something that I would desperately like to see available on our dashboard.

Thanks.

This would be very helpful. I've occasionally had to find an old order and if the person's name was in the middle of the alphabet, I've had to scroll through pages and pages of old orders to find the one I'm looking for. Is there an easier way to find an old order, assuming they didn't register an account?

I can see this would be useful. Possibly a work around, if no changes in the dashboard programming is made, would be to download orders to your own spreadsheet and pull searches that way.
