I just looked at a bisi customer account from the customer side. The order history shows only the date and the total. Shouldn't customers be able to see the details of what they ordered and see when it was shipped, etc?

As a customer in other online venues, I have often used order history to find the right items when I go back to reorder. Is this an oversight or is it this way intentionally?

hmmmm  . . .

Well, I just checked a bisi store from which I have ordered a couple of times...  same thing.  Just the order number, date, and amount.  Honestly, as a customer, I don't find that very useful, either.  Like you, I'd like to be able to reference WHAT I purchased from that store in the past.

Currently it only shows the order #, date and amount. There are plans to add more functionality in the near future.

OMG! I was under the impression that customers could sign into their account and click the tracking number to check the status which I've been telling customers. Does it show whether it's even been shipped? I usually email my customers with the tracking number, anyway, but for the "register" page to say they have access to order status and history is misleading.

Tomas, if customers can't do any of that, then the wording should probably be changed on the sign in/register screen.

No,  it oes not provide for a way for a customer to see the shipping status of their order, although that would be wonderful.  Maybe that is some of the functinality that Tomas is talking about in his above reply,  I hope so!

What do you suppose the "near future" timeline being? I am considering subscribing but being able to have a detailed order history, or at least being able to post comments from the admin side to explain what was contained in an order is an ABSOLUTE MUST for my business model.

I really like everything else about BISI but that is something I have to have.

I could really use this as well. Our customers would use a feature where they can lookup their past orders and use a "quick reorder" button. We sell consumables - so the easier it is for them to reorder the better.
