Let's see what happened in round three.
Round 3
Red Wings VS Ducks. (Typing error.  )
Should have been Red Wings VS Blackhawks.
Red Wings in 6. (Right team / 7 Games)
Penguins VS Hurricanes
Penguins in 5. (Right Team / 4 Game Sweep.)
The Stanley Cup Finals
Red Wings VS Penguins
If If If If If.
If the goaltending holds up.
If they stay / get healthy.
If they get off to a hot start.
If they are not too tired / rested.
If some key players get hot.
I could say any of these about either team.
If you had told me in October that these two teams would meet
in the Stanley Cup Finals, I would have given the Cup to the
Red Wings. Same thing in January.
This is May, and the Red Wings look like a normal playoff team
and the Penguins look very strong.
Age and experience are on the Red Wings side.
The Penguins have a healthy team.
Goaltending goes to the Penguins.
If this series is decided in game 4 or 5, the Wings have the better
chance to hoist the Cup again.
This series should go at least 6 games.
My actual prediction?
Penguins in 6.

One last look at the 2008-09 Hockey Playoffs.
Goaltending goes to the Penguins.
One question I have asked throughout the playoffs has been
whether or not Osgood could keep the Wings in it.
Answer: YES.
But still have to give the edge in Goaltending to the Penguins.
If this series is decided in game 4 or 5, the Wings have the better
chance to hoist the Cup again.
This series should go at least 6 games.
My actual prediction?
Penguins in 6.
It took 7 games, but the Pittsburgh Penguins have won the Stanley Cup.
