I've been on a little over a week, and haven't sold anything. I haven't even had an inquiry from a potential buyer. Just wondering how many of us are selling and how mucy we are selling. Is this place worth it? After all, Tomas had indicated that this is done somewhat in connection with eBay. This just might not be the right venue for those of us trying to escape the BAY!

Bisi is not a marketplace like the Bay. It's a place to create your own stand alone web store. Bisi will not bring you your customers. It's a totally different mindset than auction sites, but it has it's advantages. Independence being a huge one!

| Hi! Having a store here is NOTHING like being on ebay. You have to bring in any buyers to your store. I'm still new at trying to learn all the things you have to do to be found myself. However, here are my observations so far. Most people will come by finding an item of yours through regular google search. I have found items seem to stick in the google search if you have added the attributes. You need to make sure you have filled out all your meta tags. You have to promote your store and try to get your links out there. Also, even though items may initially show up quickly in google, it does take quite some time before your site really gets indexed in any of the search engines. You need to submit your site to all the search engines. There's a lot of work, and a lot to learn. Unfortunately, the buyers do not just find you like on ebay. I feel it's worth the effort, but it isn't quick and easy. Good luck with your new store.

Hi, my store hasn't been open that long. My first sale came right after it opened. I've had 7 sales since 1-25, two were bogus purchases, but five paid immediately. Some found me by Googling...and others from the link on EB in my About Me page.

| There is no connection with greedbay at all don't know where you saw that. I have had numerous sales but you have to have patience and keep listing and promoting your store if you just let your store sit you will probably not see very many sales. I do a lot of promoting from putting cards with my stores URL in all my shipped pkgs to getting email addresses from my previous paypal payments and send a mass email discount coupon I always get sales when I do this... I only list 10-16 items a week on greedbay that I know will sell and use them as an advertising tool almost 75% of my greedbay customers now buy from my websites Good Luck just hang in there sales will come

| I have my store linked on my About Me page on eBay and have a few hits from there. I only sold one thing since joining just a few days ago and it wasn't really through my BISI store... she contacted me through there and then requested a custom design which I did and handled everything outside of BISI. I sent her an invoice through PayPal. You just have to get your name out there. Put links on other sites that offer "free" advertising and/oror answer Reviews on other sites about BISI and add your link there (I did that and have had a few hits from that site as well). I don't expect instant sales - would be nice but I don't expect it. This site is just like running a real life store - advertising is KEY to any successful business. eBay is one of the largest, if not THE largest, marketplace out there so of course you will get sales there.... BISI is relatively new but I feel it will take off and the buyers (as well as sellers) will come. It will just take awhile. While it is frustrating to "wait for that sale" just be patient. It isn't costing you anything to have your store here (unless you upgraded of course) so you really aren't risking or losing anything by having your store here.

| OK, OK, I was wrong. I thought I had remembered something Tomas had said about eBay, but it had to do with feeds from BISI to ebay and revenue. I apologize and hope you all forgive me. I've been adding links and signing up with the search engines and all, and am getting some hits, but not lots. I guess I just need to be a little more patient!
