| Jennifer - Thanks so much for all the information although most of it is technically over my head. I did manage to get the URL and site map listed using Google Webmaster. Now could you give me a simple explanation for tech dummies of what a meta tag is???? Kathie

| Meta tags... Your Meta Title is the title that shows at the very top of the browswer window. Look up, it should say BuyItSellIt Community - Windows Internet Explorer or something instead of Windows Internet Explorer (that is what I am using). Meta description - this is the description that most (not all) search engines will show to web searchers in the search results. You know, the snippet you read before you go to a page. Meta keywords - these are words that are used throughout your pages AND are relevant to the content in your page. If you put the keyword widget in there, make sure you have the word widget a few times on your pages. Does that help???

| Am I too impatient? I have submitted my site per the instructions near the beginning of this thread, and they have been verified. This was on the 24th. But Google Webmaster says: "No pages from your site are currently included in Google's index. Indexing can take time." It also says the sitemap was last downloaded 18 hours ago (this was not the first download) CRAWL ERRORS and CONTENT ANALYSIS both show all 0's for error and issues. But, "WHAT GOOGLEBOT SEES" has said this both yesterday and today: "Our system experienced a temporary problem. Please try again in a few minutes" All the other items (Search Engines, External Links, Internal Links, etc.) say "no data" I have read all I could find on this, and digested what I could, but can't figure out what I may have done wrong... or if I am just being too impatient. Can someone tell me what I need to do or check or modify? Sure would appreciate it! PS - I got an email from bisi that my account is now set up to automatically submit to Google Base. This email was about 48 hours ago. Don't know if this is relevant to the above or not . . .

Be patient!!!!!!!!! Google is not fast about doing anything, it can take as long as 8 weeks or longer to get indexed. Do NOT summit your store again or you will fall to the bottom of the list.
In the mean time add items to your store and promote it, these things will all help to get your store indexed.
Be Patient!!!!!! it will happen
