I have my shipping matrix set up as "Flat Rate" for all my items.   Some items are very small and light so they ship worldwide for a flat rate regardless of how many items in the shipment.  Heavy items ship for a flat rate + $x.xx for each additional item.

I've been testing the cart and found that it is calculating the CHEAPEST shipping rate FIRST then adding the 'Additional Item' charge from the heavy items last.

EXAMPLE of how it should calculate:

Purchase: 2 heavy widgets  and 10 light widgets

• Shipping:  $ 12.00 (1st HEAVY item)
• Shipping:  $   2.00 (2nd HEAVY item)
• Shipping:  $   3.00 (flat rate for LIGHT items)
• TOTAL SHIPPING SHOULD BE:    $ 17.00

Shopping Cart Testing is presently giving me this:

• Shipping: $ 3.00 (flat rate for light items)
• Shipping: $ 4.00 (2 additional heavy items)
• Total INCORRECT shipping:   $ 7.00

Is there a way that the HIGHEST shipping rate is inserted as THE shipping rate?  Thanks in advance!

Thanks! works great for my purposes!  It added as follows:

SHIPPING:

• (1) large item @ 15.00
• (1) smaller item @ 2.00 for additional item
• (5) packets of seeds @ 0.00 (flat rate with 0.00 for additional items)
• TOTAL NEW COMBINED SHIPPING: $ 17.00 (the seed packets ship @ 0.00 but that's OK! since seeds ship for free when combined with purchase of larger items!)

Works GREAT for my purposes Tomas!
