Ok, just adding to this for sake of Tomas's reading.

It has to do with variants, period. It will not work on products with variants. It adds to cart but gives the error page with that OOPS! stuff on it.

This items works (no variants)

I just wanted to add that I use this feature and it works on my site. I have variants for most of my products and it works for both the items that I keep track of inventory and the ones with unlimited inventory.

I haven't heard anything at all, so I just took it off. Can't go long without the cart working.

I'm glad it works for somebody. Maybe someday I can get it to work.

I just ran your code next to Jennifer's through a compare & show differences program and there is nothing different other than a couple of line breaks. Make sure you have the body tag with all the extra stuff. I am attaching what is in her store for the form. Logic says, if I copy hers exactly, and you use it, then it SHOULD work for you. If not, then it is definitely a Tomas problem.

I had another store that it would not work in but they did not want it. It just happened in there because I copied the details code from the layout they wanted and it was in there.

And the reason I copied & am attaching Jennifer's code is I have had times where I am not finding any difference but my code won't work until I copy & paste it in there again. It is WEIRD how that works out.

I have the same issue, with a regular variant, not a multi, it doesn't work, but takes me to the error page, I'd LOVE
to have this working!!

any words on if it can now be used with multiple variant options?

I was wondering if there is a "if/else" code we can use. that way we can still use it for now with items that don't have multiple variants.

I added this to my custom template page within the form area (without the spaces):

Quantity:

And keep getting an sql error:

Server Error in '/' Application.

Incorrect syntax near '='.

I also tried your version, and still get the error.

Edit - 11-06-09 - Removed Qty Selector for now.

I see now - it works on products that have no options - but does not work with productss with options.

Is there a fix for it yet?
