On paper, should we just crown the Yankees?
I'm actually looking forward to them not making the playoffs again.

Here it is the morning of May 9th, and the Yankees
are a middle of the pack team. 
In the American League, the hottest teams are the
Red Sox, Blue Jays, Royals and Rangers.
In the National League, the hottest teams are the Dodgers,
Cardinals, Brewers, Reds, Cubs, and Marlins (16 or more wins).
(The Mets and Phillies have better winning percentages than the Marlins.)

The Royals and Reds are pleasant surprises.
The Dodgers lose Manny for 50 games.
The Cardinals have been fun to watch.
The All-Star game is in St. Louis this year.
