HI, I just set up a store, but stalled when I got to the contact info part. I don't like to give my e-mail address out to the whole world. I tend to get a lot of spam. Is there anyway I can hide my e-mail, but still allow customers to contact me? Thanks very much for your help!

Oh Tomas!

I personally get tired of building forms. JotForm.com is just awesome and so easy to use. And it being free and hiding our email address is even better!!!

Koodos!!!

Tomas Thanks!

I used one of the free forms sites too for my contact us page! I had never thought to use one!

What did I do wrong?

I made the form and it gave me the html to copy to the site.  But, when I entered it on the contact page that is what I got...the html and not the form.

Gee I didn't know there was so much to learn but I love BISI and can't wait to get my store open.

When copying any HTML in the editor, you must first change the edit mode to HTML. at the bottom of the editor, click on the icon that looks like < >. This will change the form so you are editing the HTML. You can then paste the code with out it being HTML encoded.

Thanks Tomas.  That worked.

I used mycontactform but when I tested it then it left me a popup asking me to sign up with Ebay.  I wish it had said BISI

Maybe you can advertise through them.

mycontactform offers some neat features (like a personalized message and the ability to return the user to any page you want them taken to).

But, that cheesy ebay pop up at the end of each submission was not good.

So, I went with jotform. It's not as professional looking, but there is no popup and it worked flawlessly.
