| I searched the previous topics and got carpal tunnel.... Can anyone tell me how I can add links under my catagories area. I would like to add two types. I want one Header to say "Wholesale" and that would work just like the tabs at top for "About", "Terms", etc.. In other words I want to click it and it take me to a page I can list my wholesale terms. Even better if you can tell me how add another tab at top. The other headers I want to say "Myspace" and "blog". I want when you click these for you to be automatically directed to my blog and myspace. I hope this makes sense. I would love any info anyone can give on this. Thank in advance, Alice

Hi Alice.
It makes perfect sense. But the only way it can be done is with custom templates. There are people here at bisi who would be glad to sell you a custom template. Or you can do it yourself... there are also people here who will help you with the learning curve and answer your questions as you go.

It makes perfect sense. But the only way it can be done is with custom templates. There are people here at bisi who would be glad to sell you a custom template. Or you can do it yourself... there are also people here who will help you with the learning curve and answer your questions as you go.
Ditto - If you look at my store link below, you will see Ive made changes similiar to what you describe.
EDITED - its my Slipper Seller store where I have added a link to a custom page in the menu bar.... I didnt have the link there until just now... still need to copy and paste it into the girls horse clothes store!

Hey Cindy, I hadn't seen your changes. Good for you! When the templates are done like this, I call them "semi custom". It's kind of addictive, isn't it? There's always something else to tweak?
You can change some of your styling (colors, etc) if you want by adding some css in the head of your templates. If it's added below the css stylesheet links, it will over ride them.

Yes, its addicting, AND, I have that easily-addicted kind of personality. So.... I know I need to draw lines... and in this case, I am DRAWING THE LINE at touching the css stuff. Not because I couldnt figure it out - but because I need to constantly be careful about how I spend my time (which I constantly fail at!)

plus - here is my ebay store.... http://stores.ebay.com/Clothes-Horse-Collection I was already using similiar colors .... so it feels right to me - even though its just a standard issue!
(I did change the font on the menu in the bar... I would like to make that bar be not as high, and I did fool with the css page trying to do that.... but I stopped and thats it!!!! - (OK, now Im starting to sound like Junie B Jones!!!!  )

If you didn't want to upgrade right away, you could always put the links just on your home page at the top of your text. Not as nice looking as under the categories section, but it will work until your ready to go custom.
We realized that people may have a need for more links and have an "information" section added to all our custom templates. These links can be changed to anything you want. You have to have an upgraded account to use them, tho.

| Oh, Thank you for all your responses. I did upgrade my account. But I am still unclear on how to do this. I would like to try to do it myself. I usually can figure these things out with a little nudge. Any suggestions?
