Tomas,

I probably should have stated it earlier in the post.  For the handling fees is it possible to set it up to where it will only be applied to a particular method of shipping?  For instance, I have USPS parcel and priority as methods of shipping.  I don't want to apply the same amount for parcel as I do for priority.  I'll tell you why.  I have to buy the shipping envelopes for parcel but USPS provides the envelopes for priority free, so I don't need to include the same price for priority as I do for parcel.  Is there anyway to have it setup so you can provide different pricing for different methods?  Thanks for your continues help.

The handling fee may also be more beneficial for sellers to have it added into the shipping quote that comes back from the United States Postal Service in the drop down menu rather than actually being stated at the top of the page during checkout.  Most customers don't want to pay a handling fee if they know there is one.  Maybe I am asking too much at this time and should probably use flat rate shipping.  I just feel that if I can offer a cheaper service to people based on their geographic locations, rather than charging everyone the same rate, and only add into it what it costs me to package it both customers and I benefit.  This is something I wish eBay did!  However, their system is pretty similar to the way you guys are doing it.  I would like to see you guys offer something different and better in this arena.  Thanks.

I agree with bellaboutique--I'm having the exact same problem.  I need to add extra into the calculated shipping for delivery confirmation and sometimes insurance, but I don't want it to be seen by the buyer as a handling charge, it really isn't anyway, it's still a part of the shipping cost.  And it would also need to be item specific.

I'll work on adding this as a hidden fee into the shipping charges.
