OK guys...I have a minor problem...
I went and got a sccale so I could use the shipping calculator to be fair to my customers instead of just having it as a flat rate. Now when I'm in the control panel and I switch it from flat rate to weight based. Nothing changes or where it should show up by entering weight and so forth nothing shows up. Sooo basically I'm going...Oh great now what. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I assume you are editing an existing product? After you switch to weight-based, you need to move to the variants tab. There you will find your first variant which is the one you entered when you first listed the product. It's called "default" unless you have already renamed it. Click the edit link on the right of the default variant and that's where you will enter the weight. This is also where you make any price changes after a product has been saved.
If you are listing a new product, the weight is entered on the first tab when you select weight-based but not after it's been saved.
