I'm sure my questions are pretty dumb w00t

. but I'm learning as I'm going....

I'm thinking of upgrading my account. Do I first reigster a name with godaddy? And then start the process here? Can I register a name with godaddy and just "hold" it until I'm ready (meaning finding someone to help me put it together) and then upgrade here?

Is there a tutorial here once I'm ready? Can I keep my current store open while I'm working on an upgraded account?

You can register your domain any time whether or not you have an upgraded account. I would suggest going ahead and doing it and just sitting on the domain. There are a LOT of domain snipers out there that will snatch them up. And NEVER let them expire. I have one to go do now as it only has a couple more days! YIKES!

There is a thread pinned to the top about how to set it up.

Once you upgrade your account, things will still work as they do now. It is not like you get a different admin or different way of doing products. It is all the same, just more features available to you.

You can keep your store open, still get orders, and still list products. Cool
