Hi everybody

I have my custom home page almost complete. I would like other's opinions so I know if I am on the right track.  My daughter pulled it up on her computer and the colors were a little different than I thought they were. Now the tweeking.  I hope the other pages go much easier. I would appreciate any criticism, good or bad.

Thanks in advance

Rick

It looks good!

I did notice a couple of little issues though. Your View All Inventory button is behind the baseball and football Card tabs. And your Paypal logo covers part of the text. This is viewing it in Firefox.

It's a browser issue. I don't see any overlapping in IE.

Looks good but I use firefox too and I see the overlapping thing. I like to test things in several browsers since not everyone uses the same one I do. Also, your page title is showing in my title bar as "untitled". You can fix that easily in your title tag.

Now I'm curious about something. How is it you have a custom template for your homepage but still using a bisi standard template on all your other pages? I thought that it was "all or nothing" with the custom templates. Did you copy the standard template code and enter it into the custom templates for all the rest of the pages until you get to them to customize?

Hi Gayla

I looks like I have more work to do to get it to work with other browsers than IE.  I know very little about building a web page, but I'm learning as I go.  I copied the sample pages provided and then pasted them into the space provided.  Example: product details into product details.  It worked automatically, so I worked on the home page and will do the rest as I have time.

Hi Gayla

I downloaded Firefox and I see the alignment problem. I have a column for football that doesn't even show up. It does in IE. I have a question about categories. Some of my cards could go into 4 or 5, but from what I have read here, You can only go 2 deep. Is that correct? That's why I have allot of top level categories. Thanks for your input. Another set of eyes is always helpful.
Thanks

Rick
