I just got my logo from www.BearRidgeGifts.com (nice job!!!) but when I try to put it on the page template that I want it's too big. I even tried the smaller version that was sent and it's still getting overlapped by the template. Does anyone else see this or is it just my computer? The logo works fine on other styles, it's just this one that it seems to not be cooperating with...Any thoughts?

This is one of the few templates that have a fixed size. Maybe bearridge could resize it for you so it fits right and also add some transparancy?

Yes, I'd be happy to resize the logo. Tomas...what size is the fixed size for the template she is wanting? ... and is this size the required size or the maximum size?

As for the transparency, this logo was supposed to be transparent. At least it was when I created it in the program I use. Hmmm....must have something to do with the saving process when I export it as a jpeg. I'll have to do some fooling around with my program to see how to keep the transparency when saving it. If anyone knows anything about keeping things transparent when exporting things as a picture, please let me know.

(Pennystretchers...I've sent you an email in regards to this issue. I guarantee you to be 100% happy with your purchase or I will refund your money. )

Nikki, jpeg won't save transparent. gif will but it won't preserve edges feathered into transparency. png does both.

Hmmm...well, I tried all of these and apparently it doesn't work the same with my digital scrapbook software that I use.... when I tried png, it didn't come out transparent at all (which doesn't really matter anyway since that format can't be used with BISI)... and when I tried gif, it came out with part of it transparent and part of it not (and lesser quality on the font vs. jpeg). So for now, I guess I'm stuck without transparency. The OP is happy with the solution we came up with (and I'm always happy to have a happy customer)... but it would be nice to be able to save some of my logos with their transparency. I guess, if someone wanted one transparent, if they were putting it over a solid background I could try to match that background as close as possible to give the illusion of transparency.

Anyway.... thanks for trying to help. I really appreciate it.

I use the background matching a lot. There's a free program called Color Cop that I use and it's always perfect when matching any color on my screen. Are you sure bisi doesn't support png? I was thinking that some of my images here were png but maybe not. Maybe all my png images are hosted elsewhere. On my Homespun homepage, the scripture is a png image with transparency and the quilt is also. I like the way that the png will "fade" into transparency but I'd like to know how to get smoother edges on the fonts. I know it can be done, I just haven't worked it out yet.

Always something to learn.......
