It would be an awesome idea to add a Gift Certificate or Card option.

but untill then, I'm useing "Cupons" as a Gift Certificate.

Its a pretty good idea.

I love the coupons dealie.   I avoid gift certificates/cards in my B&M store because I don't like the responsibility of knowing I have to be there at least another year, have expiration dates, keep track of the ones sold so that I know they are not being counterfeited (as a graphic artist, I know it can be easy, so I tend to be more concerned than most), and and and. I'd feel the same way online. Especially with how internet businesses come and go overnight, you'd have to have a truly loyal customer who would want one. My stuff tends to be one off (online anyway), and the B&M shop is at a local retail-style flea market, so the whole "trust the shop will stick around" thing is an issue there, too. Heck, it's been 4 years there and folks still say, "oh, when did you move in?" I respond that it was 4 years ago, and they say, "oh, cause I didn't see you here when I was here a couple months ago." UGH. Yeah, I'm lyin' to ya.

Anyway, I'm not telling you it's a bad idea - please don't take it that way - just saying there's a lot to think about with GCs.
