okay I finally closed my store at eb, there was nothing in it for quite some time, I'm still listing a few things to drive traffic here but not much.

Good for you!

I'm going to be right behind you.  I have a few things ending today, and then I'm done. I'll still run a few auctions to drive traffic, but my store is useless.  Once I saw the announcement yesterday about the "discounted" listings for a huge store site, I knew for sure the little guys were finished.  They just don't want us.

I'd rather focus my attention where I actually have a chance at being seen.

Ebay cut some kind of deal with Buy.com, the first of many, IMO. They are up to 221557  listings so far. And they don't pay what the longtime sellers pay.

Discussion, such as it is, here:

Ebay is SO darn greedy....they can't keep their sticky fingers out of anything...the creeps. I closed my eBay store a month ago and keep a few auctions going a week ONLY to drive traffic HERE to my beautiful website..., which is doing GREAT!!

I too closed my eBay store about a week ago.  I feel good!  Next to go is ProStores after I get more listings copied here to BISI.  BTW, I just packed a necklace that I sold, believe it or not, on IOFFER.  I've had an IOFFER store for years and every time I'm about to close it, another sale comes through.

My inventory here on BISI is more than 450 items added one at a time.  I like the headers that are allowed on category page.  Lots of good stuff here.  And yes, still waiting for that first sale.  IMHO, all in all, this is a far better site than eBay!

I sold on Ebay for like 7yrs and then took a couple yrs off because I got burned out. Anyways, I got the itch to get back to it a couple weeks ago so I opened up a store and immediately sold a couple things. OMG!! I guess I never looked at the fees involved but the FVF was horrible!! I just closed my store and will try to seek out as many good free places to list as I can find.

I was on Ebay for 6 years and had a full time job as Eb was going downhill I lost my job in Oct but it's just not worth staying there selling jewelry for lower and lower.

Very nice stores y'all
