Was hunting for an itm for friend who still insists on using ebay and came across a seller with 2 negatives and bunches of neutrals with 100% rating.  Could someone explain this one as I thought they always affected the rating?  Thank you

Yeah I've seen that before too. There's something about how on the Eb stores discussion board. I'm not sure if I remember , but it may have something to do with if it's old negs EB took them away from the score even though you still can see them, and neutrals don't count at all.

Often, when you first begin to sell on eBay, you make mistakes, and get negs.  I got my first neg in the first month of selling, but rarely get them now.  I think I have a total of 8 in 9 years of selling.

If the person has 100% positive, they are probably an OK seller.  JMO
