I have tried everything I have read on the board that you guys have said about metatag for Google and I still cant get the meta tag to get me verified with Google. I have tried it with and without quotations, brackets, etc. My home page does not have any html <head> and <body> like they mention so I have just been placing it first in the html table before anything else? Any ideas? I have been at this for hours and I am ready to bang my head. Any help is appreciated.

I finally got it. JUST DANG! Google should make it clear to leave out all the marks and quotes and symbols LOL. For those of us who aren't webmasters or IT geniuses, that was super frustrating.

I am new to the google webmaster tool. It says I need to verify my site in order to submit the site indexing. Where am I supposed to paste the html code or meta tag? w00t

Thanks for the site of our sitemap. That was the very next thing on my "to do" list. Took me about 15 seconds to submit it, so now I'm off to figure out why some items are NEVER found, some show up every time, some show up on some parts of google and not others, and some show up and then disappear.

Well now I'm really confused. I followed the link & found my sitemap (that I didn't even know I had) but I don't see anything about me needing to "submit" it anyplace? It doesn't seem that it includes my approx 250 listings tho? I do see it includes categories in my store along with many of my individual listings. Is that what it's supposed to do? Such a dunce about this stuff w00t
