Why won't it allow you to add hyperlinks on pages with out having to know the HTML? (WHY IS THERE NO BUTTON)

It would be wonderful to have the "insert hyperlink" button on the WYSIWYG editor. I know this would be a tremendous benefit for those who have no html experience, and it would also be nice for those of us who can do our own links via html but would prefer to use the WYSIWYG editor (just makes it simpler and quicker).
