If you can access my orders from 3/31,
you will see that two orders show up for one item
to one person. There should have only been one
of these items available. They only paid for the second
purchase, I will ask about the first one when I E-Mail
them later.
The item is gone from my store, and shows out of stock
in my admin.
Let me know if you need any more information.
Mike.

I've had that happen before as the buyer isn't sure they bought it so they do it again. Just delete the second invoice.

That is what I believe happened also.
The item only had one available though, and I was
wondering how they could have purchased it twice.
I would guess they hit the back button to get back to it.

The first order didn't receive a payment. Inventory is only deducted once a payment is received.

I've twice had people submit an order, not pay for it but turn right around and resubmit the same identical order again and pay the second time. I only take paypal payments so I guess there's something in the paypal process that is causing them to balk. I may add some text to my listing explaining the process better.

Thank you Joyce, Tomas and Jubilee,
I seem to remember this being the case from another thread.
Is there any way they can go back to the first order and
try to pay thinking they would get a second item?
Mike.

I'm not sure what you are asking Mike. Can you clarify a bit more?

She "purchased" the item twice.
She paid for the second "purchase".
Can she go back to the first "purchase" and pay for it also,
thinking she will get two of the items?
I haven't deleted the second one yet in case you needed it.
I will delete it later on this evening.
Mike.

She can't go back to pay for the order unless you manually sent her a Paypal invoice. Once you click the submit button on the checkout, it clears out the initial cart.
