I am an organic gardener and I use many of my herbs and flowers in my creations.

I started out making these things ( handmade goat milk soaps, chemical-free [organic but you can't call it that officially without spending oodles of $ for gov't certification ] lip balms, very dry skin balm, sachets, pillows, eye masks/pillows... for my family and for gifts.    After a while, locals started asking for them and my little shop was born.   I now have an online shop thanks to BISI.

I may expand my line of products a little in the future, but I will not sell something until I like it and use it.

I will not use fake colors or scents (like "fragrance oils").    My products have only REAL chemical-free herbs, flowers, spices... in them.

Alice,

Thank you so much !

I am working on getting photos taken so that I can add them to my listings, but I just have so much going on right now they will have to wait a bit longer.

I "Go to Jail" on Thursday the 21st. of February and my "bail" will be tallied to see if I raised enough to be set free - LOL

I am also planning to get dressed in an old-fashioned "Jail" outfit that I made and go to all of the businesses in downtown Hubbard, Ohio on Friday (tomorrow) with my donation can.   So if you see me out and about, stop by and say "Hi !" - Oh, and I take my large coffee with 1 sugar and 10 little tubs of Half-&-Half - LOL

We have been starting my seedlings to get ready for spring planting.

I have to have a fresh supply of herbs and flowers to use in my products.

Hi Diana,

I'm going to keep you in mind the next time I need to order something.  Your idea to make all that from your garden is awesome.  I would like to attempt something like that myself someday if I could find a safe spot to do it (we have 2 big dogs).  I would definitely like to try some of your products soon.  I'm liking the "all natural" concept more and more.

Hi I also sell handmade soaps. Working on scented ones now. I use all certified organic ingredients nothing I grow my own. All herbs are through a company that is certified to be organic as are my oils. As time goes on I hope to develop other products. Also have plans to sell at the local farmers market.

Sandy,

That would be great !

I have some soap curing now and will be listing it when it gets ready.

I love gardening and have almost always had one.

I use the herbs and flowers in my soaps, balms and I even cook with most of them too.

I do order a few things like organic vanilla beans and the shea, mango, and cocoa butters... that I use as I don't have a greenhouse to grow those things

I like growing and using my own homegrown plants.   It gives me a great satisfaction to see the whole process from start to finish and to know that I am using the absolute best for my family and my customers too.

My kids like to help me in the garden and with the formulating of new soap/balm/bath "tea" recipes... .   I do not test my products on animals - I test them on family -  LOL

When you get a chance, go to my main website and read the testamonials on the page called "What Customers Say"  and look at some of my photos too.

Let me know what you think.   I am always tweeking my site and now that I have an "official" shopping page, I am redoubling my efforts to make sure eveything looks right.

Diana

P.S.  My 10 year old daughter LOVES the horse in your logo !

Oh I have a huge garden also. I grow my own fruits and veggies plus I have medicinal herbs that we use at home. I hate harvesting the medicinal herbs cause it most of the time involves pulling the whole plant up. But I leave everything the way nature intended so it seeds itself so I never run out. The only reason I do not use my own herbs is I can not guarantee that something the neighbor sprays will not drift over here.
