I just tried to add something into my shopping cart to test out my store, and I got this error message. But then after clearing my cache and trying again, everything seemed okay and to be working fine, so I don't want to make a bug report. Maybe it was some kind of fluke. But can you tell me...what is this?

This may happen if your cookie becomes corrupted (sounds so weird  ) or if you have cookies disabled. I'm working on a more 'friendly' error.

If you had cookies disabled, most of the internet would be non-functional for you. You'd just know.
It's very uncommon that a cookie would be corrupted, but it occurs sometimes. There's no real way to determine if that's happened.
