No it is not US !! It's those that cannot read, or do not read. They see the word Vintage at Daytons, Macys, Herbergers, Pennys and so on. But they do not see that there is also the word 'style', or 'like' some where there too. I get the same ones in the antique mall all the time. The ones I like is when you tell someone it is Victorian, before 1910 and they ask if it is old.
What I have to jog my brain on is that stuff from the 1980's is now 'vintage' its 20-25 years old now, and a lot of the young ladies are coming into the mall to buy it, they want the big necklaces now. But of course they only want to spend $1.00- $10.00.
We just have to try and educate them. Have you notice that the buyers on Ebay non readers too?
