Ok, my package was delivered to my customer. So since there is no feedback system here, should I email them to make sure everything is ok? Or is no news good news?
Just curious what everyone else is doing. I know when I buy from other websites, I don't get anything. So I just wanted to be sure

I always consider (like you said) that no news is good news. I would never be able to keep up with who I'd emailed and who I hadn't anyway.

When I ship I send a thank you email and say if you have any questions or problems, please let me know. I also include that on a note inside the package with my store name and email address. I don't do any other follow up, but sometimes a buyer will email me when they receive their item and let me know it got there safe and sound.

Hey, Nancy! Great idea on the guest book for feedback! You could even encourage them to use it by offering an incentive coupon if they come back and leave a comment about the transaction. If they say "loved my widget" you email them a coupon that is unique and only good for one customer one time so they can't post the coupon code somewhere for all to see.
Have you added the guest book idea to the list of ways to promote your site thread? Although it's not promoting outside of the store, it's a reassurance (for those that come to shop who might be used to checking ebay feedback) that people love to shop with you.
