We found this tool to notify the major search engines of your site using your XML sitemap.

We don't know how effective it is but hey, anything is worth a shot since business is so slow right now.

Just enter your sitemap's url and choose a specific search engine from the drop down box or leave as is to notify all of them all at once.

After you hit the notify button, wait for each site to acknowledge your submission.
