I know I saw a thread about others with same problem, but can't find it anywhere.

I have 3 items not showing at all in my google base account.  Is there something I'm supposed to do on my end?

Thanks for the help

I really wish this would get settled.  I have over 200 items in my store, my Googlebase listings were at 176 on Sunday, and are now down to 153.  Even if I had the time to cross check them to figure out what is missing, I wouldn't know what to do to fix it when I found it.

Tomas, is there any chance of changing to a mass sitewide daily upload rather than uploading by individual store? It might work better, even though we'd lose the chance to see what made it to the upload.

Thanks!

Patti

Google doesnt accept everything. I think 174 out of 200 is pretty typical and to be accepted.

I happened to see 3 things that had not be added from an ebay upload a few weeks ago - google did spit out the portion of the text with the problem.... it happened to be text I had copied and pasted from a manufacturers website (and used in all 3 of the items). When I pasted it into ebay, the formatting did not show - but apparently the code was still in there somewhere...

One of the words is coded to have an accent mark. Like I said, it never showed and never gave me any trouble on ebay - but Google spits it out.

You may have something like that. Or, Ive heard there are some words they do not allow (some words are perfectly fine in one context but not in another - I assume they err on the side of being conservative. Perhaps they have a way to request to have the items allowed.... but I figure missing 12% of your items isnt too big of a deal.

There are likely other things too like this that are on Google's end.

I have Google Base items that expired on July 2 and July 9. Neither group has been resubmitted as I thought BISI would do for us. I have a support ticket open for each batch, but no reply so far. My next batch expires July 14 and I'll be watching to see what happens.

Thanks Cindy.  It's frustrating not to know why items don't get accepted, but more frustrating to see the numbers go down, knowing that something that was previously accepted just isn't there anymore.  I think it goes back to expired items not being resubmitted.

How does it even work here? How often are things submitted? What about the fact that my ebay things are already there? I stopped re-submitting them, but did not see any from here show up, so I did resubmit.

Do I have to delete them all in order for the ones from here to submit, or???????????????

That's a good questions, I have the same as well.  I guess I should take it off of ebay since I don't have those items on ebay anymore.....

By the way, how do you know if the items were not accepted?  I checked the inactive tabs and it says 0.

No - don't delete them. I don't know for sure but I think the button that says "delete forever" really does delete them forever. I have to check but I think the ones I deleted forever I will have to manually enter...
